The Royal
Oak Historical Society is a volunteer, membership organization whose
purpose is to encourage historical study and research, to collect
and preserve historical materials, and to record the
forklore connected
with the City of Royal Oak and its vicinity.

Royal Oak Kimball High School
May 1957
witnessed the dedication of Royal Oak Kimball High School, and the first
edition of it's student paper "The Herald". The paper contains
articles describing the schools dedication ceremony, the buildings
construction, and interviews with the new principal and assistant
principal. The election of a student counsel, a list of it's 51 new
teachers, and Journalisn and Athletics department articles round out
the issue.

Schools, beginning in the 1920" to the present, can be viewed at
the musuem.
